SCHEDULE-RELATED POLICIES

Please inform us of schedule changes ASAP!

Last-minute disruptions affect other clients and patients. When a pet owner cancels a surgery with less than 2 business days’ notice (Monday-Friday), we are unable to fill that spot, which costs us an entire surgery slot.

In order to avoid challenges in collecting from your pet owner, we suggest that you require a $500 non-refundable deposit when scheduling a procedure to ensure they are dedicated to moving forward and to cover the Anchor cancellation fee if the procedure is cancelled within the 2 business days (M-F) before the day of surgery.

This includes cancellation if the patient is found to be unfit for surgery on Surgery Day. It is imperative that we receive all requested patient information and diagnostics in advance to ensure surgery is appropriate.

We make extensive efforts to coordinate many teams at a variety of hospitals so that we may provide care to as many patients in as many places as possible. Teams who are unprepared when we arrive create downstream delays and hassles for every other hospitals we visit, including the need to bump surgeries to other days. As such, a $250 Delay of Surgery fee has been created to help incentivize punctuality.

See Price List (above) for fees associated with:

  • Cancellations within 2 business days (M-F) of Surgery Day

  • Emergency patients added on Surgery Day

  • Delay of surgery
